My Most Popular Post of 2014

In September of this year one of my posts, 6 Religious Beliefs that Cause Tremendous Harm, soared to become my most popular post of all time (two years) in only 13 days!

It begins:

In my opinion, six mistaken beliefs among Christians cause incalculable pain, suffering, and lasting damage.

I know that followers of Jesus disagree on a host of issues, but I don’t think all issues are equally important. I talk about these six beliefs so energetically, not because I simply disagree with them, but because they are so extremely harmful. They are harmful to Christians who believe them, to those who are hurt by Christians who believe them, and to the church.

Your comments are true, but for only few who want to go astray and enjoy and worship His Creation, than the Creator!

God angry- When? Why? How? For what? with whom?
When we want to enjoy this illusion world, forgetting the purpose of our creation, then God is…
Why should He create something useless?

People burning in eternity can be debated later, as we are burnt(suffer) for the sins committed in this world in this life itself.

Bible, that too the old testament is word of God, but the new testament has lost its originality…

Following Jesus is your choice, as there are 19 major world religions which are subdivided into a total of 270 large religious groups, and many smaller ones. but …Decide whether you want to worship the creator or His creations!

Creation story, is told to make us understand the love and wisdom God, why should He create? any compulsion? What was the use?
We are not able to recreate even a one single living cell but He can create cell, atom, amoeba, dinosaur, galaxy, so on but we can’t control our own senses!

I believe that God is NOT an angry, violent and vengeful Creator.
I also don’t believe that we are to “worship” he/she. Love, yes. “Worship” impies (at least to me) that God is egotistical and I don’t personally think so. He/She is Love. I love God/Creator and feel the love in return. There is SO much that we don’t and won’t understand as long as we are in the physical.
I do enjoy reading different blogs and getting different perspectives on God, Jesus, the Bible, etc. There is always room for growth through knowledge and as we are all different in our experiences in this life, we all have something to share.
I’m glad I stumbled upon this site. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and allowing others to share theirs.
    Blessings 🙂

      God never said “WORSHIP” me,

In our Indian custom! (I know it is every-bodies) that after marriage, we love and give our full self to the other partner… but are we doing this?
Very similarly God, wants the primary position to be given to HIM!,

it is our dear ones, wife/husband asking us to be loyal to them? as they have dedicated their life completely to you.

It is very clearly proven that, “A SERVANT cannot serve TWO masters!

Sir, I am from Bangalore-The IT capital of India. Which is turning completely into western culture, which is very alarming.
We are trying to serve two masters, which is a real failure!

Thanks for letting me know Consult; I really appreciate it. Are you part of a Christian movement in India or are you of another religion? How did you come to have an interest in my blog?

SDM, I like your thought that God is not so interested in ‘worship’ as though God is egotistical and receives gratification from our adoration. I agree that our relationship with God is based on love.
