Christian LGBT Support Resources

I consider Justin Lee, of the Gay Christian Network, to be one of the most important leaders for explaining and defending LGBT Christians and promoting their acceptance by other believers. And he does it all with kindness and a heart for reconciliation.

If you are straight and want to understand LGBT issues—Gay Christian Network is the place to go.

If you are LGBT and feel confused, distressed, or alone—Gay Christian Network is the place to go.

Crumbs from the Communion Table

In a recent blog post, Justin mentions a short, but very disturbing, video (with a link) in which a son is kicked out by his family for being gay. Justin then shares five practical, effective things you can do to make a difference.

However, at the end of his post, he provides an excellent list of resource and support groups for gay Christians. Some of them are denominational support groups.

Sir, We trying cut the leaves instead of cutting the roots for eliminating the problem!
We have this God’s creation blended only because of their parents sin, imagine the insult and agony the parents have to undergo from the time they know about their child!
I agree, the child also faces similar insults, but only till their friends or others understand and accept, that it was a Creation of God, and the child had nothing to add to this.
Are we the parents learning from others mistake or … only after we get affected? then blame some one for our mistake,
Are we able to control our senses! to further avoid such mistakes, imagine how much God also will be suffering to create a known mistake?
    Our God is punishing God…
My sincere apologies to all, in particular, God’s most wonderful Creations!

Consult, I am not sure what you consider the ‘problem’ to be. Is it that people are gay or that gay people are rejected. What is the root of the ‘problem’?

Also, what do you mean by God’s creation being blended?

It was the Gay Christian Network that started me on my journey to becoming gay affirming. Thanks for the link.

Sheila, I am glad you found GCN. I had already worked through the basics of accepting gays by the time I found it, but Justin made a big difference in broadening my understanding.
